This fossil was found on our very first fossiling trip! It was the first large limb bone that we had ever found and was quite exciting to see! The fossil has degraded over time so we put a garbage bag over it (making sure to keep it down with large rocks so it doesn't blow away and hurt the environment) and so far it seems to be helping to preserve it.
You can see how the fossil has degraded over time from the two images. The top image is from the spring of 2025 while the bottom one is from the October of 2020.
