On May 3 2025, we discovered another site! This one is very big though and we haven’t explored it all yet. From large pieces of petrified wood to a huge bone, this area has a bunch of things to find! There’s petrified wood all over the place and some of the pieces are very pretty. We haven’t discovered any teeth here yet, but that doesn’t mean we won’t in the future. Other people have clearly been to this site since we have found a piece of clothing near somewhat near the large bone.
When we first went to this site, we saw bones with flat parts bigger than our feet. Later in the year (July) we met some grad students from the University of Alberta who have permits for this area, and they said "yes we saw that bone - its a bone bed ... that bone is a scapula of a hadrosaur".
